Quilt Basting: $25 per hour + $15 Vanish Extra Thread charge
Tired of trying to find a place big enough to baste your quilt to hand or machine quilt it yourself? Let me help you with this less than fun step of the quilting process... I use a long stitch and large meander with Superior's Extra Vanish wash-away thread to thoroughly baste the layers of your quilt together securely, without puckers or tucks. When you are finished with the quilting process there is no need to remove the basting stitches... just wash them away in a warm soak or the washing machine!
