I began my machine quilting career in 1999 shortly after the birth of my third child.  It was love at first stitch and soon I was replacing springs in my Elna 6005 sewing machine every other month!  I was quilting so much and doing so much free-motion on that sweet machine of mine that it just shook her poor springs loose!  My sewing machine dealer suggested that I look into getting a longarm quilting machine and the rest, as they say, is history!  After quilting for clients for about a year I branched out into pattern design and wrote my first instructional workbook for the longarm quilter, Garden Branching.  It wasn't long after that that my focus changed from soley quilting for others to teaching other longarmers my techniques.  I spent several amazing years traveling and teaching.  There is a simple truth that you teach what you want to learn and I am indebted to every single student I have had for the knowledge and friendship that they have shared with me.  After a two-year hiatus from quilting as a business (it was so wonderful to spend some time working on things for myself!) and the birth of my fourth child, I am happy to announce that I am once again accepting clients for my artistic, award-winning machine quilting.  I look forward to collaborating with you on your next quilt!

I have been honored to have partnered with the highly esteemed quilt designer and teacher, Judy Martin on several of her quilts which can be seen in her books:

I also very much enjoyed being a part of Laurie Bevan's book for Martingale Press
